The incident was reported just after 2 p.m. The small Cessna airplane was in the road in the area of Sierra Highway and Shady Lane Road, according to Lt. Both were treated at the scene by the Los Angeles County Fire Department and airlifted to a local area hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
